School Family Worker
How can I help?
I am here to offer practical help and guidance to families in our school community. I understand that every family’s situation is different, and I aim to provide a friendly, confidential and non-judgemental service tailored to your needs.
I can support you with a range of practical and emotional needs, including:
- Food bank vouchers to help during times of financial difficulty
- Access to parenting courses to build confidence and strengthen family relationships
- Support with forms and paperwork, including applications for benefits, housing, and school-related documentation
- Help with essential items, such as clothing, shoes and toiletries for children
- Support with accessing funding for white goods, such as fridges, cookers or washing machines when needed. Bedroom furniture for children.
I also work directly with children in school, supporting them with emotional needs, including friendship issues, anger and anxiety,
